HVAC Systems for Accommodation

Teknotherm provides a number of solutions for air-conditioning and ventilation of accommodation areas. Capacities are designed to reflect the numbers of rooms and ensure pressure to prevent ingress of outside air, in order to provide healthy and comfortable indoor climate.

Condensing Units

A range of standardized condensing units match the air handling units and are constructed to be compact, light and easy to service. Manufactured to satisfy marine standards, the refrigeration compressors are selected from major makers ensuring easily accessible spare parts and service.

Self Contained Air Conditioning Units

Most vessels have special HVAC and cooling needs, which cannot be fulfilled by centralised systems. Control rooms and other areas often need their own self-contained package units. Teknotherm's marine air conditioning range meets such requirements and offers a variety of installation options. All units utilise environmentally friendly refrigerants and the compact design ensures easy installation. Heating and humidification accessories are also available.

Provision Room

Teknotherm supplies modular provision room refrigeration packages delivered to the yard as prefabricated kits which include all mounting materials. Condensing units are specified for each package and are delivered in different sizes depending on the capacity demand. The provision room control system utilizes marine approved components and modules. Pre-manufactured valve plates and evaporator units are both examples of components that offer the yard shorter installation time on all types of vessels.

Ventilation Equipment
